FIX Sharp Low Back Pain When Bending, Twisting Or Rolling Over In Bed
If you’re dealing with chronic low back sensitivity, it’s common to experience sharp pains in the lower back when needing to do things like turning to look behind you, buckle your seat belt, or flip over in bed.
What you don’t want to do is eliminate these things out of fear.
Instead, I want to teach you how to create a healing environment in your body so that you can slowly get back to doing these things with confidence and control over your symptoms.
In this week’s video, you will learn:
Why your body is responding with these sharp “catches” or stabbing pain

What Causes Sharp Low Back Pain When Rolling Over In Bed Or Twisting?
Flipping over in bed and feeling a sudden sharp pain can happen for a few reasons. There are both common “mechanical reasons” such as herniated discs or tissue strain but there is also a central nervous system proponent.
I break this down even more in today’s video.
Here are some other common reasons to consider.
Muscle tightness or strain:
Imagine if you’ve been sitting in the same position for a while—your muscles might get a bit stiff. When you flip over quickly, those muscles might strain, causing a sudden, sharp pain.
Back or spine issues:
Sometimes, our back isn’t in the best shape. Issues like a slipped disc or a nerve getting pinched can make certain movements, like flipping over, really uncomfortable.
Nerve irritation:
Sometimes, a nerve might get upset, especially in the lower back, causing a sharp pain sensation when you move.
These reasons are more structural and, with the right program, can be resolved with time.
